Young black students have a unique undertaking in both school and life itself. The vulnerabilities that are in place, specifically those which impact quality of life, those which transcend classrooms, institutions, and careers, are all reminders of the need for community intervention. That is why we are providing reinforcement for black students in Durham Grades 7 - 12.
Since 2018 BPT has been pairing students with tutors and providing youth and their supports with essential life skills workshops while engaging the Black community in educational and entertaining events.
